Please review the Contest Terms and these requirements, so you have everything ready before starting your submission.

Make sure:

  • You own the idea
  • Your commercial doesn’t feature any famous people
  • You used music you own or have a license to – and you can pass those rights on to us
  • You aren't featuring anyone else's product without their permission
  • You used Luma AI products for your AI-generated footage

Specs for Commercial Submission

  • Accepted Formats: Files must be uploaded in standard formats such as .mp4, .mov, or .mpeg.
  • Codec: MJPEG H264
  • Resolution: Minimum resolution is 720x400px/ Maximum resolution is 1920×1080 (HD).
  • File Size: The film file should generally not exceed 8 GB.
  • Audio/Video Coding: Multiplexed files (audio, video, and subtitles in a single file) are preferred. Progressive (deinterlaced) footage is recommended.
  • Audio: 48kHz sound PCM (only uncompressed) MP3 AAC (if possible > 160 kBit/s)
  • Subtitles: The subtitles have to be integrated (burned in) into the image.
  • Duration: Entries must be at least 10 seconds and we do not recommend submitting anything over 180 seconds.
  • No watermarks or social handle text on screen
